This week has been beyond hectic, but I am pleased to say that my blog and I are back in full swing with a brand spankin’ new computer! Let’s cross our fingers that this one doesn’t crash too.

I used to live in flared/bell-bottom jeans from about the age of 11-18, give or take a few, but after falling in love with skinny jeans I stupidly gave all my flared jeans away only to find that a few years later I’d be lusting after them once again. Thankfully, J Brand sent over these amazing bell-bottom jeans that fit perfectly and are so flared that they make up for all the ones I kissed goodbye a few years ago. I love that wearing bell-bottom jeans automatically calls for a 60s/70s hippie inspired outfit, just my cup of tea. So, with icons like Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin as my inspiration I paired my swingin’ sixties jeans with a colorful, drapey Suno sweater and a vintage bag that I bought at a flea market in Berkeley years ago.

{ Suno sweater, Banana Republic shirt, gifted J Brand ‘Babe‘ Jeans, vintage bag & necklace, Steve Madden booties }

    Love the color, it looks smashing with the dark blue. The pants are my favorite because I love the length. And you always look fabulous with your messy hair. So you look like a stylish hippie from the years 2000. PS love that adorable bag, the orange looks fabulous in this early spring season

    Wow, that sweater is amazing! I pulled out an old pair of bell-bottoms the other day… I have a hard time getting rid of things that I loved when I bought them, which is good in some cases, I suppose 🙂

    Hi. I’m a stylist in LA and I’m totally obsessed with your blog. I’d love if you visited my new blog for multiple posts a day on all things fashion. I just moved to California after graduating back in south with a degree in visual merchandiser. In attempt to get my heel in the door, I’ve launched a site all about celebrity fashion and the trends that create it. Check out what Brad, Rachel Zoe’s former associate shared with me and find out my latest trend report. I’d love the support. I’m following you, I hope you’ll do the same. Thanks so much.
