L I F E

April 1, 2010

While I may not be the most comfortable person in nature(I am horribly afraid of snakes), when it comes to watching and learning about it I am obsessed. I am constantly reading National Geographic magazines, checking out the latest videos uploaded onto Discovery Channel’s website, and go pretty much radio silent during Shark Week. It is thus no surprise that I am completely immersed in Discovery Channel’s latest show LIFE.

What I find fascinating is how much nature plays a role in fashion. Animals, insects, fish, plants, etc. are always influencing designers and their collections. Below I’ve compiled some clothing inspired by nature and all of it’s wonderful creatures.

I am a big fan of animal prints myself and always feel drawn to them when I am choosing among patterns. I love the pairing with other things in my wardrobe and it always becomes such a striking outfit which always leads to a compliment!
    Great POST!
